  • Yes, all products from the Casa Sofia are dishwasher-safe. All glazes are made in our California studio. We do not use metals, or cadmium in our glazes and make sure our glazes are tested for food safety

  • Delivery & Return Policy

    Our policy lasts 15 days. If 15 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you an exchange or return.To be eligible for a replacement, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. We will issue a full refund, minus shipping costs, once we receive the package and as long as the merchandise is in its original condition. Please send an email to ale@echericeramics.com with order information.

     All exchanges/returns must first be approved by us. Items must be returned in original and unused condition with original packaging. Shipping costs are non-refundable and all costs for return shipment are the responsibility of the customer. Exchanges will incur additional shipping charges where applicable.
    Please read our FAQ in our workshops if you'd like a refund 48 hours before our classes. Refunds are not accepted after workshops have been taking

    If you receive a package that is broken or damages please send us pictures of the damaged goods to casasofiadesigns@gmail.com within the same business day it was received and we will replace it.

    Thank you for supporting handmade ceramics! Please read our shipping policy below so you know what to expect from the moment you place your order to the moment it arrives at your door.

    Processing Time

    Because each piece is handmade and often made to order, please allow 1–2 weeks for your order to be made, packed, and prepared for shipment. This processing time is separate from transit time.

    • During busy seasons (holidays, sales events) processing may take slightly longer — we'll note this on our website if it applies.

    • You'll receive a confirmation email once your order ships, along with tracking information.

    Where We Ship

    We currently ship within the United States only. We hope to offer international shipping in the future — sign up for our newsletter or follow us on social media for updates.

    Shipping Rates & Carriers

    • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your order's weight and destination.

    • We ship via [USPS / UPS / FedEx — fill in your carrier(s)].

    • Estimated transit time is 3–7 business days after your order ships, depending on your location.

    How We Pack Your Order

    Ceramics are fragile, and we take packing seriously. Every piece is:

    • Wrapped individually in protective material

    • Cushioned with packing paper, bubble wrap, or biodegradable fill

    • Packed in a sturdy box sized to minimize movement during transit

    We do everything we can to make sure your piece arrives safely — but accidents in transit can still happen.

    Damaged, Lost, or Defective Items

    If your item arrives damaged or your package is lost in transit:

    1. Contact us within 7 days of delivery (or expected delivery, for lost packages) at [your email address].

    2. Please include your order number and photos of the damaged item and packaging — this helps us file a claim with the carrier and improve our packing process.

    3. You may choose a free replacement (if the piece is available) or a full refund — whichever you prefer.

    We want you to love what you ordered, and we'll always make it right.

    Order Tracking

    Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with a tracking number. If you haven't received tracking within our stated processing window, please reach out — we're happy to check on it.

    Incorrect Shipping Address

    Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer, but reach out and we'll do our best to help redirect the package if possible.
