Ale Sofia has spent the last eight years with her hands in clay. She got her start as a high school ceramics teacher, watching students fall in love with the wheel before deciding she wasn't ready to leave it herself. That early instinct led to ALMa Design Studio, which grew from a dinnerware line into a full design house spanning home decor, art, and furniture.

Somewhere in that growth, Ale found herself further from the wheel than she meant to be. Casa Sofia is how she's getting back to it — a smaller, slower studio focused on what first pulled her into ceramics: making things by hand, built for the table, the cheese board, and the dinner that runs later than planned.
